HOLY HANDS SIGN CORP - DECEMBER 6th
The Holy Hands For Christ Sign Corp wants to present special music at both of our worship services on the 6th of December. CHRISTMAS DINNER THEATRE - DEC. 6th
The SonShine Boys will be in concert with Spoken4 for a Christmas concert in Kokomo, December 12th. It’s a dinner Theatre that will be held at the Grotto (or Kokomo Booster Club) just across from Dairy Queen on US 31. Tickets should be bought by December 6th so that the proper amount of food can be purchased for our guests.THE J.O.Y. OF GIVING
Again, this year, we’re having our “J.O.Y” manger.
You’ll find the manger back by the Sound Booth filled with slips of paper that tell you the age, gender and gift suggestion for a specific needy boy or girl that you can by a gift for this Christmas. Then, just wrap the gift, and bring it back to church for our missions team to pass out

THANKSPIRATION—6 pm November 22nd
We ought to be giving thanks to God every day… but Thanksgiving is a very special season of the year and we want to celebrate it with a Thankspiration—that’s a combination of food, fun and singing. If you have some special music you’d like to share, or songs you’d like to have us sing together, talk to Steven Rohde or Jeff. TAKE A SACK & BRING IT BACK
Again, this Thanksgiving, we’re going to give you an opportunity to help people with food. We call it our “Take a Sack and Bring it Back” program. We’ll supply the sacks, you supply the produce. Canned goods, potatoes, paper goods, sugar, whatever—then bring the sack back the next Sunday for our Food Pantry people to sort through. Deadline: Monday November 23rd.

LETTER FROM MEXICO

(From Garnet Calzedo - Mexican Medical Missionary)
Thank you again for the wonderful boxes you sent to the border. I am always so amazed at the nice things you send.
I think perhaps the influence of (Senator) Donnelly may have made a difference. We have no way of knowing for sure. (Javier) said he was there about 15 minutes. They just looked at one of the letters that was sent by the people in U.S. He said the guy walked away, came back and said it was approved. Thank you all so much for your help.
Sounds like you ladies have been really busy. God bless you all. I delivered another baby yesterday. It was really hard as the Mom was only 16 and the cord was around the neck. It took a lot our of me too, but all is well. I had been so very sick Sat. and Sunday. My throat swelled almost shut and I was one very sick lady. The poor gal came in on Sunday and I knew I just couldn't deal with it then. She was just beginning labor so I sent her home and prayed all day the Lord would hold her off until at least Monday. He did. I was still weak, but at least a whole lot better than Sunday. God is sooooooooo good.

Fireproof Movie Synopsis

At work, inside burning buildings, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the old firefighter's adage: “Never leave your partner behind”. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules.
His wife Catherine always dreamed of marrying a loving, brave firefighter...just like her dad. Now, after 7 years of marriage, she wonders when she stopped being "good enough" for her
husband.
husband.
Arguments over jobs, finances, housework, and outside interests have readied them both to move on to something with more sparks. As the couple prepares to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb's father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experiment: "The Love Dare." While trying to stay true to his promise, Caleb becomes frustrated time and again. He finally asks his father, "How am I supposed to show love to somebody who constantly rejects me?" Is it too late to fireproof his marriage? His job is to rescue others. Now Caleb Holt is ready to face his toughest job ever...rescuing his wife's heart.
Tobagganning - February 28th

We’re getting a group together to go February 28th, right after men’s prayer breakfast. If there’s enough snow on the ground, you could rent skis for a cross-country skiing experience. Any youth must be accompanied by an adult.
