CANTATA AND CAROLING

CHRISTMAS CANTATA DEC. 21st MORNING WORSHIP

been working hard on this year’s Cantata which focuses on the birth of Christ from Joseph’s point of view.

THEN CAROLING THAT NIGHT (21st)
We’ll have a church bus to take us to the nursing homes and
other locations. If you have suggestions about where to sing
be sure to let Jeff know. We’ll meet at 5 p.m.

LADIES COOKIE EXCHANGE

Susan Turrill will be hosting the cookie exchange this year which will be held at her home in Galveston, Tuesday December 9th at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is to bring 3 dozen cookies. You can also bring a gift for the gift exchange if you desire. All the ladies of the church are also encouraged to fill out a “secret sister” bio. If you sign up you’ll be assigned a “secret sister” for next year. It’s a great way to get to know others women in the church.

NEW CLASS ON ACTS

Don Allison will be moving over to the New Testament Class Room (the one next to the kitchen) to start a new class on the book of Acts starting December 7th at 9:30 am.
The class on the Old Testament will continue with Jim Thompson teaching (they’re in Jeremiah right now).
