UPWARD FOOTBALL SIGN-UP

UPWARD FOOTBALL SIGN-UP
Trampas Young has someone at the church building every weekday from 3 til 6 pm to receive the registrations of kids for the Upward Flag Football program later this Spring. It’s for kids from Kindergarten thru 6th Grade.

Cost: $50 if received by March 1st, $60 for registrations after that.

Athletic Evaluations will begin the week of March 10th.

Practices will begin April 1st, and games will begin April 12th. Games
will last thru May 31st with a closing program to be held at McHale Performing Arts Auditorium on June 6h.

This is a great program. Let’s keep Trampas and his workers in our prayers.

DISPLAY AT NATIONAL CITY

LOOK FOR OUR DISPLAY AT NATIONAL CITY BANK
National City Bank has been kind enough to allow our church to put up a display in their foyer like many of the businesses have done. We plan to have three separate presentations: One for the church, one for Upward Flag Football, and one for the SonShine Boys quartet. In addition, we will have brochures and magnets and other material at the table. Keep this in prayer that there will be people become interested in our church family because of this effort.

HOPE Meeting

H.O.P.E. ANNUAL MEETING
Our Hispanic Church planting organization (Rafael is the church planter) will be holding their annual meeting here at our building February 23rd. The meeting will start at 11 am, followed by a luncheon at noon. If you’re interested in what Rafael is doing in his ministry, or you’d just like to encourage him in his efforts, come and join us.

FRIEND DAY & CARRY-IN DINNER

FEBRUARY 24th
It’s always a great idea to invite your friends to church, but Friend Days help focus our attention on bringing new people in to experience just what a great church this is.
We’ll only have ONE service that Sunday (10:30), followed by a Carry-in. We’ll have special music and other activities. So plan to pick up your “invitation” cards and start showing your friends
how much you really like them by inviting them to worship with us.
